This seminar will focus on CRISPR genome editing technologies and particularly, the best practices of designing CRISPR experiments. Aimed at all researches, whether new to CRISPR or expert users, this seminar will focus on the design aspects of CRISPR experiments Using data derived from investigating 25,000 sgRNAs in over 850 different experiments carried out across 150 different labs, we will interrogate current rules and gold-standards and review their viability. There will be an interactive and practical workshop component to the seminar, during which attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops to follow the talk.
