Equipment:
LightCycler 480 (Roche) with HRM module. This real-time PCR machine is installed with a 96-well bloc (can be upgraded to 384 wells) with the extension module for high resolution melting (HRM) analysis. It is mainly used for high-throughput mutation screening using this approach.
The system is operated by a separate desktop data station based on Windows XP.
Usage and conditions:
- Open to all members of de Duve Institute upon agreement with the contact person, depending on the availability and the needs of the owner’s lab.
- Reservation is mandatory, and running/maintenance costs will be charged based on usage.
- Specific plates required (bar-coded)
